1080snowboarding
Ahh. The first snowboarding game I ever played on the N64, but sadly not the greatest game ever invented. 1080 was made to revolutionize the snowboarding X-treme sport, and put it into a perspective that only Cool Boarders had done before. This game was supposed to be the shiznit of all snowboarding games ever to be made, but its not. And here's why.
Graphics
The grahics for 1080 are awesome for a cartridge system. When you got to a sharp turn or raise off a jump a little snow kicks up and therefore creating a cool effect for snowboarder enthusiasts. The one thing I have a problem with is that when doing tricks the graphics tend to slow down or at some points speed up. Whether this was planned or not its not really entertaining or pleasing to the eye in any way.
Sound
Once again for a cartridge game, not to shabby. However I'm sure they could have come up with some more creative beats, to match the pace of this game. Nonetheless this is probably one of the better parts of the game.
Controls
Yeah, well I should have expected this from nintendo. I didn't though, why didn't I expect this? I am such an idiot. Only nintendo would put in a combination move list in which you have to do an R button with a joystick fully rotated in circle for a 360 then add another R button with a joystick held to the right for a 540. Sound confusing, it was and still is. In the department that Cool Boarders reinvented, with the holding of the R1 button for as many rotations as you like, 1080 fell like an overweight ape.
Multiplayer
To save myself time and space, I'm going to say this, and I do believe this quote was said by many Video Game Designers, Inventers, and Players. Here it is "At least it has a multiplayer capability, not a good one, but it has one."

 Rating System (scale of 1-5):
Graphics: 4 (Come on, its a cartridge with snow effects)
Sound: 4 (Faster tempoed songs to keep me pumped)
Controls: 2 (Not unless you designed the game could you pull this off)
Multiplayer: 2 (At least it has one)
Total Rating Points Earned: 12/20 (Look in the bargain bin)
