Rallisport Challenge
Introduction
If Microsoft had something up its sleeve in Rallisport Challenge. Theonly thing I think that would be can be summed up in two very important words on todays Next-Gen consoles. Particle Effects. Microsoft went all out with detail in Rallisport Challenge. From the wanna be rap star rims to the tire tracks left in the dirt, and even the Rally tracks that are in this game are superbly detailed. One must think that microsoft has been practicing with graphics processors for a few years before they released the X-box. Whether its that or the incredible realness of the drift racing style that is the Rally, Microsoft has come up with another great title for its X-box, which as of right now, is doing quite well in the gaming industry.
Graphics
Once again Microsoft has put detail into every last inch of its own games. The environments are simply breathtaking, and the cars are detailed down to the exact grill formation, which you can see when watching a replay or changing camera Views. The drivers inside the car that can be seen through the windshield and side windows are a really nice touch.
Sound
Microsoft has gone the distance withe Rallisport. If you don't like the soundtrack, mute it and put on a CD or the radio. This is a great soundtrack. I enjoy the cars and how you can tell the difference of engines, I have been able to deduce by listening to the engines sounds which cars a re behind me. This come in handy, especially if you want to know how close the other cars really are.
Controls
Well, disregarding the "Hamburger" oops I mean "Cheeseburger" the controls for driving your very own rally car is quite easy. Its not super easy, but after about two hour of learning the drift style of driving that is rally racing, you'll be cruising around in your very own Citroen.
Fun Factor
I didn't really play the Multiplayer, so I did the Fun Factor instead. Actually I can't remember if I played the Multiplayer on this or if it was on Nascar Thunder 02, but anyway. This game is extremely fun. If you like any of the Gran Turismo's or any of the racing games out there this is a must have.
 Rating System (scale of 1-5):
Graphics: 5 (Microsoft = Particle Effects)
Sound: 5 (I love the sound of engines, right behind me)
Controls: 5 (Pretty easy to learn, especially with the "cheeseburger")
Fun Factor: 5 (It just one of those games)
Total Rating Points Earned: 20/20 (Game of The Year Candidate)
